Dawn II was built in the David Hillyard boatyards at Littlehampton, (West) Sussex in 1952. She is rigged as a Bermudan Cutter and her construction is mahogany on oak.
She has the following specification:
Displacement: 2.5 tons
Length Overall: 19 ft 6 in
Beam: 6 ft 6 in
Draft: 3 ft 6 in
Engine: Inboard 2 cyl 10hp Stuart Turner P66 2 stroke.
Sails: Mainsail, Jib, Staysail, Genoa (not all at once!)
